How do polar bears keep warm?

This week Elm class made models to show how a polar bear survives the
cold temperatures of the Arctic. The Owls used their comprehension
skills to read the instructions how to make it. All the groups used
their measuring skills to cut the art straws to the correct length for
the polar bear fur. Can you tell an adult at home how polar bears keep
warm?

Place Value in Elm Class

In Maths today, the Squares and Triangles played the pumpkin place
value game. You can play it at home too- all you really need are 2 sets
of number cards 0-9. Play it with someone at home. You can also make
hundreds numbers too, for an extra challenge!

Research in Elm Class

The Robins group used the iPads today to research what people can see
and do at the Haynes Motor Museum. Tomorrow we are going to use the
information to create a page in our non-fiction book.
